Sorin Thornfinger

In the town where Sylvia Winterlace was killed, the party found a statue depicting a man wearing a ring. The statue bears this inscription:

“Sorin Thornfinger, Warden of Darkness
In the year 242 in the chaotic era, he cast away the darkness
And sealed away the hopeful
To dream anew”

OBSERVATION: The ring is visually prominent enough to record as a potential clue, but its purpose and connection to the inscription are not yet known.
